Time was something that was still somewhat of an enigma to Elizabeth. She had some experience with it, but this place and the multiple timelines had her confused. That and somehow deep inside of her she awoke with a fear that it may be a resource that could be wasted and she may suddenly be wasting it here she was looking for some answers.

"I was wondering, as I have met The Sister Complex Kingpin of Steel and he did not remember it. Were I to meet the others I challenged in the TV would that also be the case? Would Captain Ressentiment still be a wage slave and hero by night here? Has the Carnivore who Discarded womanhood discarded it yet? Has the Unconquerable Snow Black even begin to search for her prince? Have the roses of the Bloodcurdling Beefcake Emperor been planted yet? Has the 2000 IQ Killjoy Detective even begun to challenge the army of idiots? I know not which one of them even won the title of manliest of men and would like to ask. I know that we should be from the same time, yet it seems as if we are not."

"Time it seems is my greatest source of confusion here. It moves forward and some charge ahead as if it is a fleeting ghost, yet others simply sit and bide it, content to wait things out. I am not certain how I should look at it, and how it will aid or hurt my own quest. To those who have always lived with the clock chasing them, what is the best way of dealing with it? While Erebus and Chronos were both Titans, one seems more to be a natural order of things, or is moving to strike one down going to meet resistance from the others?"

She shakes her head and looks down a bit, letting out a small breath.

"Also, does this place get into your mind and make you feel in ways you have no experience with?"

Oh, well, that's quite different then! Titles are much easier to change.

Perhaps dropping "Sister Complex" would be advisable, however. Or "Killjoy." I knew a killjoy once. Very unpleasant.

"They are not my titles, I am not even certain I was given one as my appearance in the event was somewhat.... Forced! Still, if I may get your name perhaps I can point those who have said titles to you for help in changing them?"

Ah, my name is Doctor Walter Bishop. I would be most pleased to help your associates find new titles.

"It was a tournament of some sort. I merely was involved because it seemed more interesting than sulking about a lack of direction."

She ponders for a second then nods, "I will make your offer of new titles open to them as well. Though as I can not say I completely understand why they took them I can not be certain if they have no sentimental attachment to them."

Always better to do something than to sulk. I find a little bit of LSD can do wonders for opening the mind to all possible directions.

And yes, if there is sentimental value to the titles, they may be less likely to-- Hm... I suppose. But the offer stands. I'm quite good at naming things.

"Sadly, I am not human, so I have almost no reaction to the things humans take to change their body. That and I prefer action."

She nods a bit, "Seeing how other people like the one I was seeking to help acted seemed like a good idea to understand the situation better. That and it had been so long since I got to experience a combat that was not immediately a forgone conclusion."

...You're not human? Then what are you?

"I was born as an avatar or power. Someone to provide meaning in the exchanges of guests to our room and humans who visited. Beyond that though I really have no idea. What do you want and who are you are two questions that define chaos and law."

...You're a computer program? Am I tripping again?

"No, I am not a computer program. A dream given form with magic is perhaps a better way of looking at it."

...But-- [Magic isn't real. It was all slight of hand. Magic was just what people called advanced sciences they didn't understand. Walter tilts his head. A dream given form with advanced science - that he could understand.]

"Think of it as energy given physical form. It is easiest that way for those who have never worked with magic."

"Do you mean tissue samples, or quizzes in Japanese proficiency?"

"Those are the only two forms of test that I know."
