"Seeing as how we were told not to go on the road, and those who would bind us here offered agreements to those who blindly followed, I believe that someone need run to the end of that gauntlet. Not to fight, or to explore, or even to rescue someone, but to do no more than see what is at the end of the gauntlet. Perhaps the greatest things are done with no expectations. If any of you know how to drive a car without it falling to mere parts, I would be delighted to have an accomplice."
